With age, the distance between the lip and the nose (philtrum) elongates, and the upper lip curls inward, appearing thinner. Lip fillers cannot shorten this distance, they only add volume. Lip Lift is the only procedure that shortens this distance.
How is it Performed?
A "bullhorn" shaped strip of skin is removed at the base of the nose, hidden within the natural creases. By lifting the lip: - Tooth visibility increases (providing a more youthful smile). - The upper lip rolls outward and becomes permanently fuller. - Facial proportions are balanced.
Recovery
It is performed under local anesthesia in 45 minutes. Sutures are removed in 5-7 days. The scar fades over time and becomes inconspicuous.
