Recovery Timeline & Expectations

Thanks to advanced surgical techniques, the recovery period for a facelift is now more comfortable than ever. Patients typically stay overnight in the hospital for monitoring. - **First 3 Days:** Swelling and mild bruising are expected. Keeping the head elevated and applying cold compresses significantly helps. - **Week 1:** Most sutures are removed. Swelling begins to subside rapidly and can be easily camouflaged with makeup. Patients can start short social interactions. - **Week 2:** The majority of swelling resolves, and patients often feel comfortable returning to work and normal daily routines. - **Months 1-3:** Facial contours fully settle, incision lines fade to white, and the final, rejuvenated result becomes apparent.
