Will my expression change?
Changing brow position can alter expression. The target is discussed with measurements and photographs; asymmetry or an unexpectedly high position cannot be completely excluded.
Is the result permanent?
Surgery does not stop ageing. Brow position and the visible result can change with technique, tissue characteristics, healing and time.
Can it be combined with another procedure?
Eyelid surgery or canthopexy is considered only for a separate finding and goal; combined surgery adds its own risks and recovery burden.
How many days should I stay in Istanbul for a brow lift?
Stay length varies with endoscopic, temporal or open technique, combined procedures, sutures and follow-up. A fixed number of days is not safe for everyone; confirm the return journey and local review after the surgical scope is known.
What type of anaesthesia is used and how long does the procedure take?
Endoscopic brow lift is most often performed under general anaesthesia, and in some cases with local anaesthesia combined with sedation. The procedure usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The anaesthesia method is decided before surgery based on any combined procedures and your overall health.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the surgery?
Fitness to fly depends on swelling, wounds, sensory change, combined procedures and healing at review. There is no single safe day for everyone; confirm the return date after an examination and surgeon approval.
Can a brow lift be combined with other facial procedures in one session?
Yes, a brow lift is frequently combined in the same session with upper eyelid surgery, forehead rejuvenation, or a facelift. A single anaesthesia and one recovery period make the process more practical, especially for international patients. Suitability is assessed according to your facial analysis and health status.
Is an online evaluation possible before I travel?
Yes, a preliminary online evaluation can be carried out using photographs and your medical information before travelling. During this consultation, you receive initial guidance on your brow structure, expectations, and the suitable technique. The final surgical plan is then completed during an in-person examination.
