How many days should I stay in Istanbul for a brow lift?
A stay of about 5 to 7 days is usually sufficient. The first day covers the consultation and surgery, while the following days allow swelling to settle and a follow-up check. Since hairline sutures are typically removed around day 10, plan your return flight accordingly or arrange local suture removal. The exact duration is confirmed after your personal assessment.
What type of anaesthesia is used and how long does the procedure take?
Endoscopic brow lift is most often performed under general anaesthesia, and in some cases with local anaesthesia combined with sedation. The procedure usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The anaesthesia method is decided before surgery based on any combined procedures and your overall health.
Is it safe to travel by plane after the surgery?
Air travel is generally permitted after day 7, allowing swelling and healing to reach a sufficient level.
